RESOURCES TO HELP YOU GROW IN FAITH

SERIES RESOURCES

We have all been told not to talk about religion in public. And we’ve all known people who constantly talked about religion in a way that was judgmental and off-putting. It seems like pretty good advice. But would it be Jesus’ advice to us? Jesus is always talking about religion in public, but he also directs his followers to do the same. Usually, the people Jesus speaks to find the conversation helpful and transformational, not judgmental and aggressive. In this series, we will be learning from Jesus’ conversations about God with people who were not his followers, how we, too, can share the Good News of God’s love and mercy in ways that are gracious, respectful, and life-changing.

Join us from February 18th to April 11th, 2026, as we learn from Jesus’ conversations about God with others and discover how we, too, can share the Good News of God's love and mercy in meaningful ways.

Sharing Christ

The Art of a Spiritual Conversation

We have all been told not to talk about religion in public. And we’ve all known people who constantly talked about religion in a way that was judgmental and off-

Usually, the people Jesus speaks to find the conversation helpful and transformational, not judgmental and aggressive. Something Bigger

This year, are you looking for something bigger?  Something bigger than hopelessness, doubt, isolation, lack of purpose, judgment, grudges, and hate?  Something bigger is found in hope, faith, community, serving, grace, forgiveness, and love.  Something bigger is our God.

Join us from January 4th to February 17th, 2026, as we search for something bigger.

Scrooge's Surprise: Finding the Life You Are Missing Out On

The birth of Christ is the hinge of history, a turning point so profound that our sense of time is divided between before and after his birth. The coming of Christ into our lives is the turning point between a life based on self-centered needs and a life based on love and joy. In his famous book A Christmas Carol, Charles Dickens tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, who through his visions of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, is able to see clearly the difference Christ makes and is given the chance to choose Christ before it is too late. By joining Scrooge in remembering God’s work in our world and in our lives, and the ways we have turned toward and away from God in the past, we prepare ourselves to receive Christ as He comes to us today.
