Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection established the foundation of the church. His preaching, teaching, and ministry created kingdom principles that would reveal glimpses of the coming kingdom. The Holy Spirit empowered Jesus’ first disciples to begin inventing the church by living out kingdom principles in real time. The same Holy Spirit continues to empower today’s disciples to reinvent the church to impact our changing context. The Spirit is calling us into a future that is bright with kingdom possibilities.
