WELCOME
We are so happy to meet you!
Welcome to Concord United Children’s Department where your child will learn to share Christ, serve others, and grow in their faith through meaningful interactions each week. We have a place for your child from ages birth through 5th grade. We provide a variety of options for your child to get involved with others as they enter the early years of their own spiritual journey, we work diligently on making Concord United a place where your child will want to be each week. We look forward to meeting your child and becoming a part of their lives and partnering with you as they grow.

A Little More About Us...
Sunday Mornings
At 11 AM Children's Church is offered in the gym for Kindergarten thru 5th grade. During this time there will be engaging worship, bible stories and an age-appropriate activity.
During the 9:30 & 11:00 AM worship services a nursery is provided for infant-Pre-K.
Your Child's Safety is our Priority
Your family’s health and safety are very important to us. We have implemented a number of measures based on the CDC, TN Health Department, and Knox County Schools guidelines to help your child more safely participate on Sunday mornings. We will also need your help to allow all our families and children to feel comfortable and safe returning to in-person worship and/or small groups.
Additional Events
We love spending time with your family and we provide numerous activities to get to know you and your family through out the year. We do this by offering safe fun events for your friends and family. Check out some of the events we are looking forward to this year.

Have questions? We have the answers!
We’re are excited to meet you. Please see our New Here page for an overview of what to expect when you visit.
We recommend that you park on the west side of the church building, next to the playground. This entrance is covered and leads directly into the nursery area.
When you enter the Children’s Ministry area, you will find a digital check-in desk and friendly church volunteers and staff who will explain our nametag verification system and help you get registered. Our children’s areas are also monitored by trained security personnel.
For our babies and 1’s, generally transitions are based upon developed motor skills (crawling or walking). Children age 2 to PreK, room transitions will happen based on age as of August 15 of current school year. Kindergarten to 5th grade will stay within grade level, transitioning up when a new school year begins.
We welcome families with children who require special care, and we understand that the transition period for your child will be unique. Before your first visit, it is important for us to get to know you and your child so that we can provide the best experience for you. Please contact Heather Hayes, Children’s Ministry Director, for more information.
